Events

The end of Year GYmkhana is happening on Saturday 29th October 2016 at 4:00pm at the Derby Rodeo Grounds. Come along to celebrate a great year of events, sucesses, spills, jumps, and bumps. Talk about the stuff you have learnt over the year. Don't forget to thank those who have helped, taught, encouraged, and supported you over the year.

This year's Bullarama is on the calendar - 15th October 2016 starting at 4:00pm till late. Come and show your support, and your appreciatation for all those who have worked hard this year, whether on the stations, on the land, in the office, or at school. Everyone come along enjoy the last Derby Rodeo event for the year, be a participant, be helper, volunteer, or spectator. Events commence at 4:00pm and finish 10:00pm followed by the Bar and DJ until late.

The weather is heating up and so as the year's gymkhanas come to end, so hoof it along and celebrtae the skills of our riders. With a great day for events, family atmosphere, and BBQ. Hoof into the food, and share a drink with a mate.  Toast a great year of events and celebrate with all the families involved.

The year of events is nearly over, but the grounds still need to be cared for.  So come along with a cheerful heart and willing attitude to cleanup the grounds, yards and arenas for the final weeks of events at the grounds. Stay and enjoy our family atmosphere as we work together to achieve and the best presented grounds in town. So take pride in our grounds and in ourselves for a successful year.

Join the families, horses, as the Gymkhana commences with the events where all the riders compete in.  Hip! Hip! Horay! for the riders and their mounts as the charge through the events. Confidence, fun, food, for all the family and join in the BBQ.  

Gymkhana for all the family. Horse games, courses, activities to test your skills and enjoy each others company. Check out the others skills at the BBQ with salads, sausages, steaks, etc so bring your appetite and enjoy the evening under the lights of the arena.
